What is DigitalTips.org?
DigitalTips.org was developed by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) to help you learn about consumer electronics technologies. Armed with an understanding of key features and benefits of popular products like digital televisions, digital cameras and cell phones, you will be better able to compare brands and models and buy the product that’s right for you.  

What guides and resources are available?
The site includes articles, buying guides, videos and more. These educational materials are distributed among several product categories that you can access using the tabs along the top of the page. You may also search the site using keywords on the top, right-hand side of the page.  

What if I can’t view the buying guides?
The buying guides require you to have Adobe Flash Player installed. The latest Flash Player is available free of charge on the Adobe website. If you still can’t view the guides, please contact us.

What if I can’t view the printable guide summaries?
To view the summary documents you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed. Acrobat Reader is available free of charge on the Adobe website.  If you still can’t view the guides, please contact us.

What if the site isn't working?

I’m a retail salesperson. Is there special training available for me?
Yes. CEA produces specialized online training that’s provided, free of charge,  to retail salespeople. Currently, category training is available in audio, digital camcorders, digital cameras, digital television, GPS, home networking, in-vehicle, MP3 players and wireless.
